A Portrait at BMS Imaging Ltd
The aim of our photographer is for you to have a fun experience creating wonderful images that you will be proud to show in your own home, or as gifts for family and friends. As well as the more formal styles, we like to enjoy part of the sitting as a free form session. This can often produce a more natural look and project the real you.

We charge £10.00 for which we will take a number of poses. To consider your favourites, we invite you to a viewing of the photographs one week later. This is the best method for making choices as the images can be seen at a large size and facial expressions are clearly visible. A selection of frames, folders and picture sizes will be available to compliment the photograph.
Although we strongly recommend you attend the viewing, if circumstances do not allow it, we can provide a set of proofs, for which we would make a charge.

Lets plan the sitting
Working together we can create some memories of you and your loved ones. I would like to suggest a few pointers that will assist the quest for the look you want. Co-ordination of colours and style should reflect your personality. For children and young adults, encourage them to bring something they relate to, after all, it's an image of self we are seeking. For more options, bring a clothing change and, of course, your smile!

Style Suggestions

• Keep it simple.
• Avoid mixing formal and casual wear.
• Plain colors work best, strong patterns can be distracting. Also, avoid contrasting tonal ranges; do not mix dark and lighter colours.
• Bare arms can detract from facial expressions, longer sleeves prevent this. However, short sleeves and T-shirts can look attractive for the younger generation.
• Be prepared for both full length and close up shots.
• Consider your neckline, lower styles benefit shorter necks; conversely, a higher style will suit longer necks and slimmer faces.
• It will be preferable to remove socks and shoes for some shots, especially for young children... Please bear this in mind.
• Please feel free to bring a 'prop', especially for children and young adults, something they relate to and enjoy; be it clothes or an item.
